The Ivy Mission is now available on Kindle and ibooks and will be on all other electronic devices any minute....So let me tell you a bit about this action packed adventure!

This is the fifth book I have written and something totally different from the Scottish Highland Series I have been writing for the last few years.  In my mind I wanted to write an adventure set in the Mediterranean.  I visited places like Venice, Saint-Tropez, Monaco and Greece because I knew something there would spark my imagination and lead me to a good story.  What I came home with was certainly not what I expected.  Yes, I saw spectacular places and had a wonderful time, but that wasn't exactly the story I wrote about in this book.  Instead my mind focused on the political tensions going on all around me and the fear of the vast numbers of refugees that were pouring into Europe.

This book took me totally out of my comfort zone! Once the story came to me I battled the idea of writing it. I didn't want to write about violent current affairs that were happening far away in lands that didn't touch my everyday life. But once conceived the plot took my brain hostage and made me obsess about it until I agreed to do it. When I finally began the research, I knew immediately the book was going to change me as a person. Never again will I be able to look at a news story and not see the images of war that I studied, because now I have put faces on some of those people and inside my head they are real.

I hope you will take the time to read this one. It is something that will take you on a journey you will not be able to predict. It is filled with action and adventure about a modern day war that touches us more than we want to admit.
